Yahoo! Its thursday! My last day of work in October! Goodbye office….goodbye work….goodbye stress!!! Nyahahaha! ^__^

Ehem…ehem. I think I lost my composure there. Hehehe. Nwei as I was scanning the local news this morning I noticed a news that ticked me off a little. Read this to know what I mean. Where’s the privacy? I mean there are people who take advantage of the situation and INVADE your privacy in your very own homes! NBI??? Show proof! Besides, unless they have a search warrant…DONT LET ANYBODY JUST WALTZ IN YOUR HOMES!!! Haaay…typical Filipinos…pag may pagkakakitaan nga naman, kahit kapwa mo lolokohin mo para kumita. Saddening but its true. Magkakonsyensya naman kayo! Ang hirap na nga ng buhay sa pinas…ganyan pa kayo!

Oh! Btw, do you do bird hunting for fun??? I call you guys to STOP and DESIST! This news really scared me! Haay…I think Mother Nature is telling us something. Philippines is really lucky that the previous SARS issue didnt hit us hard. Let’s all pray that we be spared from this too.

Well, that’s the not-so-nice part of my morning. But the good part negates all of it! Its thursday! My last day of work before the LOOOOOOONG VACATION!!! Nyahaha! It’s too bad that I dont have a broadband internet at home, but I think I’ll survive. I’ve already prepared for my 9-day rest hehehe… ^__^;;;

I lost my Mazda RX7…even after 2 days I still can’t believe it. I was shocked! And I even leveled-up twice before it was destroyed. Don’t you know that it RARELY happens that you level up more than once in one seating? *sigh* My red FC…gone…

ei guys i want to ask if one of u have an old PC memory lying around…like a 128MB or 256MB SDRAM PC100…and want to sell it to me for a reasonable price. alam ko kelangan sa classifieds to dapat ilagay pero nag-search na ko e pero wala talga.

nwei its a memory commonly found on computers 5-6yrs old and probably collecting dust in your house hehehe…i could buy it off you and you’d have less junk in your house…its a win-win situation! better yet…you can donate it to me hehehehe!!! ^__^

Whoa! Its Friday again??? When would surprises in my life end??? Hehehe…I reaaaaaally like Fridays…its on this day that Im in my best! ^___^

Nwei, I have an accomplishment last night….I’ve finally revived my old PC. And when I say old, reaaally old! Its about 10yrs-old. Pretty old for a technology that matures every 3 months! Here are its specs:

It was kinda accumulating dust in the corner of our house and I took pity on it plus I dont have a PC in my room so it was kinda a win-win situation for both me and my PC. Hehehe…
Took me around 4hrs to fix the damn thing. Problems were:

1. Needs A LOT of cleaning
2. The original PCI-based Video Card’s (NVidia Riva TNT) fan isn’t working thus rendering the card useless

First of all, I totally cleaned the inside AND outside of the Case. Replaced the video card. Its a good thing I have an extra VC lying around in my "box of PC treasures". Another good thing is that the motherboard have the AGP slot so it accomodated my card. A problem came up when I tried installing the driver of the VC. Its conflicting with the resources of my LAN card which sits on the first PCI slot beside the AGP slot. I kinda remembered one article that that was the problem of older motherboards wherein the AGP slot shares resources with the first PCI slot of the board. Since, Im not in any network or whatever, I took out the LAN card aaaaannnnd VOILA! It works! I feel like Im Dexter the boy genius. Hehehehe ^__^

Its running fine now under Windows 98 SE. I was kinda looking into installing Linux on it (Ubuntu or Linspire) but both distro failed to detect the sound card so I opted for the M$ product. But at least I have a fully working multimedia PC that I can also use to access the web and work on simple office work.

This PC also had a sentimental value to it. It was the one that helped me with all of my PC requirements during my college days. Reports, thesis, design projects…you name it! That’s why seeing it working fine again made me remember those "stressful" yet productive days. It also made me smile. And I think, if computers could smile, its smiling too… ^__^

Imagine the possibilities on an email address with a 1000GB of storage….whooaa!!! Anyway, I stumbled upon this free service when browsing around the forums of tipidpc.com….I dont think there’s a catch or anything and it even has FREE POP3 / IMAP access!!! Even gmail doesnt offer IMAP access!!!

There! I even made a sig! I didn’t know what came over me but suddenly I wanted to express my fond of my cars in IDAS (Initial D: Arcade Stage). And I did it thru art. If its considered art by some people…hehehe… Nwei, it features my current favorites of all the cars I have. I have 5 btw. ^__^ Also, I added my "nick" when I play. I go by the name "Z1". Maga-alas tres na pala…malapit na naman maguwian. Excited na naman ako at Friday na. Makakapag-unwind na ule. Haaay. Andami na namang nangyari ngayong linggo. Puro nakakainis dahil sa dami nang papansin sa loob at labas ng opisina. Di ko alam kung nananadya, pero ako basta ako nagtatrabaho lang. Malamang maga-out ako ngayon ng maaga. Kya ako nago-overtime kapag Lunes hanggang Huwebes e. Para makalayas nang maaga pag Biyernes.

Nakakabato at nakakainis rin tong trabahong to. Pero mas nakakalamang din naman yung dami nang natu3nan ko. Ang pinakamagandang natu2nan ko…pasensya. Pasensya sa mga taong kinakausap ko sa trabahong ito. Pasensya sa mga taong kung umasal e parang mga high school student. "Class behave!!" Hahaha! Dapat sakin may latigo e. Para makatikim yung mga ayaw sumunod. Heto yung mga sinungaling. Heto yung puro dada at walang gawa. At ang personal na paborito ko…yung mga mahihilig sa pandaraya. Akala ko hindi ko mararanasan ang manita e dahil di naman ako titser. Pero…eto…yan ang madalas ko ginagawa. Bato-bato sa langit, ang tamaan WAG MAGALIT! Trabaho lang po at walang personalan. Hahahaha!
