Why most men CAN’T read between the lines?
This is definitely NOT my own post. But it DOES convey my own point of view. Thanks "Gotapulse"…whoever you are. ^__^

Okay, I’ll take a crack at this one because the masses have appealed to me…
Look, you tell a guy about a problem and his instinct is to devise a solution. That’s how the male mind works. Problem solving. In our world if somebody asks us a question, we can either answer it or we can’t. What we won’t do is automatically think to ourselves…"What is she REALLY asking?" We just don’t get it. If my girlfriend tells me about how frustrating her day was because a)the car broke down , b) the computer was on the fritz, c)that **** in accounting was at it again…here’s what I and every other guy is probably going to think : I’ll look at the car and see if I can fix it to make her day better….I’ll see if I can do something about the computer….I’ll tell her how to deal with the **** in accounting the way I would.
There it is. That’s all you really need to know. Now, what my girlfriend is REALLY saying is "Dammit! I’m frustrated and I want you to listen to me and at least give me the illusion that it’s no big deal and tomorrow the sun will still come up" But that’s not my instinct. My instinct is to FIX problems. I don’t automatically think about what you’re really getting at, I’ve learned that one over time.
So yeah, we care and of course we bloody well have feelings. What we are not is…well…a woman. Another woman would probably generally understand what my girlfriend is really getting at to begin with. Us guys have to think about it. Sometimes we get it right but usually we don’t.
Unless the guy is gay or something. They seem really in touch with their feminine side (and no, that’s not a cheap shot. I mean it)
Understand now?
